Ingredients

  • 1kg pork meat
  • 2 medium onion finely chopped ( divide it and set one aside)
  • 4 tbsp ginger garlic paste (see recipe)
  • 2 maggi cube of your choice i use shrimp
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp suya spices (optional)

Directions

  • 1Cut the pork in desired size wash it and place it in a cooking pot with cover
  • 2Add all the ingredients with the pork (except the onion you set aside) use your hand to mix everything together and cover and let it rest for 30 minutes
  • 3Place it on high heat stir it occasionally you can add a cup of water if you want but the meat already contains water. Cook it for about 30 minutes.
  • 4Preheat the oven 15 minutes before the meat is done
  • 5After the meat is done remove it and place it in the oven make sure you don't add the broth
  • 6Grill the pork golden brown on each side (make sure it don't burn)
  • 7Place the grilled pork in a pan and add the remaining onion and the suya spices on a low heat stirring occasionally till everything is mixed well and the onions turns glazed
  • 8Serve it with fresh pepper and ebba as you see on the picture, banku, rice, fried yam etc... Enjoy
